LECTURE

REQUIRED TEXTS:

Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology, 9th Edition, 2009, Author Elaine N. Marieb with CD-ROM

Laboratory Guide for Introduction to Human Anatomy and Physiology - Biol 2404, Authors Ken Murphy and Pam Gregory. The laboratory manual must be purchased new.

 

 LABORATORY

You must be registered for both a lecture class and an on-campus laboratory class. 
Lab classes begin Monday, August 24, 2009 with Exercise 1: Anatomical Terms, Body Sections & Cavities. You will find this information covered in your lecture text under "The Language of Anatomy" on pp. 15 - 22.
Bring a new (not used) lab manual, a pencil, and your lecture book.

 

YOU MUST COMPLETE ON-LINE ORIENTATION
INSTRUCTIONS FOLLOW:

On-Line Orientation presentation.

Step 1:  Click on the above link, and view the presentation.

Step 2 Go to Apache Access at http://apacheaccess.tjc.edu/cp/home/loginf

Step 3:  Log in to Apache Access - you must know your "A number," a unique ID-number, and your password (initially, your birthday, as mmddyy).  You will be prompted to change your password immediately.  Your new password must be at least 6 letters and/or numbers.  It is case sensitive.  Be sure to write it down!

Step 4:  Once you are logged on, under Quick Links (on the left), click the "My Online Courses" link.

Step 5:  Click on the course name to enter the classroom.  This will open a new browser window with the course homepage.

Step 6 Open the Orientation Introduction Assignment found under START HERE on the Homepage.

Step 7:  Complete your introduction and post it to DISCUSSION.

Step 8:  Always log out of your class when you are finished.
