Phase I of the Tyler Botanical Gardens At
Tyler Junior College
opened in the spring of 1997 and became part
of Tyler's annual Spring Flower and Azalea Trail. Located to the east of H.E.Jenkins
Hall, the College's landmark building, the azalea garden displays a wide variety of native
and non-native azaleas, in addition to other scenic plantings.
